2026 Tasmanian Architecture Awards
The Australian Institute of Architects Awards program offers an opportunity for public and peer recognition of the innovative work of our Tasmanian architects. The program also provides the Institute with a valuable mechanism to promote architects and architecture within Tasmania, across Australia and internationally.
This year, 27 projects were entered across nine primary categories, from heritage to schools, healthcare amenities and everything in between.
The 31 recipients represent the cutting edge in architectural innovation from the state’s sharpest design minds.  The winners for 2026 act as a roadmap to the new building projects that are shaping Tasmania’s contemporary built environment.
The peer-reviewed award winners were announced at an event in Hobart on Saturday 30 May, 2026.

Everyone is welcome to vote and prizes are open Australia wide. You may only vote once and you must have a valid email address to vote. Your email address will be added to the mailing list for Open House Hobart, so you can be the first to know about forthcoming architecture events. You can unsubscribe upon receiving the first email.
