2026 National Architecture Awards

The Australian Institute of Architects Awards program offers an opportunity for public and peer recognition of the innovative work of our Tasmanian architects. The program also provides the Institute with a valuable mechanism to promote architects and architecture within Tasmania, across Australia and internationally.

This year, 27 projects have been entered across nine primary categories, from heritage to schools, healthcare amenities and everything in between. We invite you to browse through the projects to see the latest and most innovative architecture that is being produced in Tasmania.

The winners will be announced at an event on Saturday 30 May, 2026.

1. METHOD OF ENTRY

Only one entry per email address during the promotional period will be accepted.

2. DURATION OF THE PROMOTION

The promotion commences 16/04/2026 and closes at midnight AEST 30/06/2026.

3. NATURE OF THE PRIZES

The nature of the prizes are listed above.

4. METHOD OF ADVISING RESULT OF DRAW

The winners will be notified by the Australian Institute of Architects by Thursday 14 July 2026, and announced on our social media.

5. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Everyone is welcome to vote and prizes are open Australia wide. You may only vote once and you must have a valid email address to vote. Your email address will be added to the mailing list for Open House Hobart, so you can be the first to know about forthcoming architecture events. You can unsubscribe upon receiving the first email.
