Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between being a member and being registered?

Registration is a legal requirement to call yourself an architect. Your state board administers it. Membership is voluntary, it’s the practice resources, community, recognition, and advocacy that registration alone doesn’t give you.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Four quarterly payments on all categories except Student.

Can my employer pay?

Yes. Forward your invoice, or ask about practice membership which covers your whole team.
