2022 Tasmanian architecture awards Entries

Welcome to the 2022 National Architecture Awards – Tasmanian Chapter Entrant Gallery.

The Australian Institute of of Architects Awards program offers an opportunity for public and peer recognition of the innovative work of our Tasmanian architects. The program also provides the Institute with a valuable mechanism to promote architects and architecture within Tasmania, across Australia and internationally.

This year, 24 projects have been entered across ten categories, from heritage cottages to schools, community amenities to hospital redevelopments, and everything in between. We invite you to browse through the projects to see the latest and most innovative architecture that is being produced in Tasmania.

The winners were announced on Saturday 11 June via a YouTube livestream.

First Prize: a Dulux Paint voucher valued at $500.00 from our friends at Dulux.

The Dulux envir02 range provides a sustainable solution. As eco conscious customers demand more sustainable solutions in the face of climate change, they’re not willing to compromise quality for eco friendly products. Which is why sustainability is at the heart of envirO2 . Its environmental certifications are just another example of Dulux’s ongoing commitment to solving the needs of planet conscious customers. This prize is valid for Tasmanian residents and can ONLY be redeemed from the Dulux Trade Centre, 47 Burnett St, Hobart.

Second Prize: a pair of  Blundstone Boots

Our friends at Blundstone are generously giving away a pair of their iconic boots. Established in Hobart in 1870, Blundstone is a true Tassie success story. Today their boots are worn all over the world but they hold a special place for the generations of Tasmanians who have walked, worked and travelled in Blundstone’s iconic footwear.
