The Queensland Chapter had their third 2024 Regional Awards event on Friday, 24 May 2024.
The Sunshine Coast Regional Architecture Awards were held at Altitude Nine in Maroochydore on Friday, 24 May. Entries included submissions into 11 different categories, a variety of entries throughout the Sunshine Coast region. A variety of projects were named award winners and commendations were given across the categories.

Commended projects in Sunshine Coast this year are:

- Corymbia by Tim Ditchfield Architects
- Kiamba Valley Farmhouse by Aspect Architecture
- Doonan House by Kelly Martin Architecture
- Moffat Beach House by KIRK
- Sjohavn by Lightbody Architects
All commended projects in the series of regional awards progress to Queensland State Awards consideration. The shortlist is judged by the Queensland State Awards Jury.
