The Queensland Chapter had their fifth 2024 Regional Awards event on Friday, 31 May 2024.
The North Queensland Regional Architecture Awards were held at Rydges Hotel in Townsville on Friday, 31 May. Entries included submissions into 11 different categories, a variety of entries throughout the North Queensland region. A variety of projects were named award winners and commendations were given across the categories.

Commended projects in North Queensland this year are:
- Whitsunday Anglican School – STEAM Centre by BSPN Architecture
- Mundingburra Housing by Counterpoint Architecture
- Riverway Library by Counterpoint Architecture

All commended projects in the series of regional awards progress to Queensland State Awards consideration. The shortlist is judged by the Queensland State Awards Jury.
