A warm congratulations to the incoming Ministers of the newly elected Labor Government. The key Ministers impacting our profession are pictured above along with their portfolios and we are currently securing meetings to ensure our members most pressing concerns are articulated from the outset. We are looking forward to continuing to work collaboratively with government on all sides concerning all matters affecting our profession.

It is a time for review as the new Ministers evaluate their portfolios, and as policy announcements are made we will continue to keep our members informed.

IMPORTANT PROFESSION SURVEY: DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

The Australian Institute of Architects is developing a Diversity and Inclusion Policy and a survey is being conducted to gain feedback from the entire architectural community. The results will help the Institute develop their policy, with the purpose of improving the health and well-being of all who live and work in our diverse communities by promoting quality, responsible, sustainable design and advocating on behalf of the profession for the benefit of all Australians.
