We’d like to share some information about membership fees and your renewal options.
While the cost of nearly everything else is going up, we’re freezing membership fees for Graduates so you can focus on advancing your career. If you’re already registered as an architect, then let us know and we’ll move you to a new category.

If your qualifications or registration status has changed, you may be eligible to elevate to a higher category of membership with access to the applicable member badge (where available) and post-nominals and *new benefits.

MEMBERSHIP FAQ
2024 renewal notices will be issued on 7 December 2023 with fees due for payment no later than 16 January 2024.
Individual members can pay either by one annual payment or in four quarterly instalments. If you wish to change your payment frequency for 2024, please update your preference in the My Membership section of your profile via the member portal by 28 November.
If you have missed the 28 November deadline to change your payment frequency, Please email the membership team at membership@architecture.com.au

Show off your Institute membership with a digital membership badge. Exclusive to members, apply your badge to your email signature, portfolio or CV and proudly acknowledge your Institute membership and impress future employers.
You can download your member badge via your profile.
While Graduate fees are kept below the standard concessional fee rate, we understand that circumstances can sometimes impact a member’s ability to cover this cost. The Institute considers all applications for reduced fees from those experiencing financial hardship caused by unemployment or ill health. Submit your application by 28 November to be considered prior to 2024 membership renewal.
If you already have a registered card linked to your membership payments, simply update your card details in the My Membership section of your profile via the member portal by 28 November.
