2023 Sunshine Coast Australian Institute of Architects Awards & Crush

SC Crush v2

THE ARCHITECTURE CRUSH is a week of events in the lead-up to the Australian Institute of Architects – Sunshine Coast Architecture Awards Program 2023.

During this week we will be engaging with community and exploring topical themes with Architects, Allied Professionals, and anyone passionate about design.
We will be displaying the work of the 2023 Sunshine Coast Awards entrants alongside the work of Architects and their Conceptual Art.

THE ARCHITECTURE CRUSH Discussion topics include:

  • Integration of the creative process and the built environment
  • Creativity
  • Architecture and problem solving
  • Heritage and Place
  • Affordability
  • Planning + Landscape
  • Sustainability and Accessibility
  • What the future of Architecture on the Sunshine Coast might be

An “Architect in Residence” post will be manned every day offering design advice, answering questions and / or referring to others who may have answers.

Events will be held during the day and nominated evenings, with an opening arvo talk to launch the “Awards Panel“ and “Esquisse” exhibitions on Sunday 28th May.

The Finale – Sunshine Coast Regional Architecture Awards is on Friday 2nd June.
