Victorian sustainability and leadership Prize

The Victorian Sustainability Leadership Prize is awarded annually to an individual, practice, company, or organisation demonstrating exceptional leadership in advancing environmental sustainability within Victoria’s built environment. Open to both Institute members and non-architect individuals or groups, the prize highlights those making a meaningful impact through innovation, best practice, and long-term vision in sustainable development. It serves to celebrate and promote excellence across the state, while supporting the broader policy and advocacy goals of the Victorian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects. The jury is composed of the Victorian State President or Chapter nominee, the Chair of the Victorian Sustainable Architecture Committee, and the previous year’s winner (or a nominee in the prize’s inaugural year). This state-specific prize complements the national Leadership in Sustainability Prize and is a key initiative in recognising and elevating sustainability champions shaping Victoria’s architectural and built environment future.
