REGIONAL QUEENSLAND: 2025 Grassroots Forum

The 2025 Queensland Grass Roots Forum brought together committee representatives to reflect on the role of the Chapter, strengthen connections across the state, and identify practical priorities for the future. Across two days, discussions moved from surfacing key challenges to building a shared vision for stronger member value, clearer communication and more effective collaboration.

The program began with a Regional Affairs Committee strategic planning session, which explored purpose, governance, engagement and long-term sustainability. This was followed by a broader whole-of-committee forum focused on the Chapter’s promise to members, stakeholder relationships, advocacy, professional stewardship, and the connection between education, practice and registration.

A key outcome of the forum was a shared recognition that members must remain at the centre of committee and Chapter activity. The sessions also highlighted the importance of stronger communication pathways, clearer accountability and a more coordinated approach to future action, creating a valuable foundation for continued work in 2026.
