Open House Queensland
Queensland is home to three Open House programs – Brisbane Open House, Open House Gold Coast and Open House Sunshine Coast – each celebrating the value of architecture, design and the built environment through public access, storytelling and shared experience.
The Queensland Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects is proud to support and collaborate with these programs, alongside many of our members who contribute as architects, hosts, speakers, volunteers and advocates. Together, we help open up important conversations about place, design and the role architecture plays in everyday life.
As part of this shared commitment, the Chapter also presents initiatives such as Ask an Architect and Architect for a Day, helping more people engage directly with the profession and better understand the value of good design.
