2025 Winners
Award – Jordan Tam Le

Jordan’s approach to the concepts of reconciliation was mature, deeply resolved, and at times theatrically expressive. His meticulously crafted models and a powerfully emotive narrative reinforced the layered, multifaceted, and often paradoxical nature of reconciliation itself, offering a spatial and symbolic framework that was as thoughtful as it was affecting.
Commendation – Haochen Su
Haochen should be commended for presenting a highly intriguing proposition underpinned by outstanding conceptual rigour. The work demonstrated a deliberate and unique sense of provocation, supported by sophisticated model making and distinctive visual communication styles. Centred around a series of follies, the project guided the viewer through a sequence of transformative experiences – each offering a different sense of place – ultimately working to unite Country and culture in a powerful and poetic way.

Commendation – Eleanor Tozer
Eleanor crafted a beautiful and emotive journey into the underworld of a subterranean amphitheatre—an exploration that poetically contrasted the connections made on the surface with those formed at a far deeper, more intimate level. Her work evoked a profound sense of connection to Country, to place, and to one another, weaving together spatial, cultural, and emotional narratives with great sensitivity.
