Award – Haochen Su
Haochen’s work demonstrated a deliberate and unique sense of provocation, supported by sophisticated model making and distinctive visual communication styles. Centred around a series of follies, the project guided the viewer through a sequence of transformative experiences – each offering a different sense of place – ultimately working to unite country and culture in a powerful and poetic way.
Commendation – Leo Shbla
Leo’s approach to presenting his architectural proposition was refreshingly unique: delivered through the medium of a dystopian comic that challenged traditional methods of architectural communication. Through this unconventional narrative, he explored the opportunities and potential inherent in a changing world, using storytelling as a powerful tool to question, critique, and imagine alternative futures.
