Congratulations on receiving a Named Award at your Chapter Awards!

Traditionally, the National President’s Prize has been a ‘captain’s call’—an individual or organisation selected by the President for their outstanding contribution to architecture and the built environment.

This year the Prize has been reshaped to more formally celebrate those who elevate architectural outcomes through collaboration and shared commitment to design excellence.

The Prize will be presented in three categories:

• Client of the Year
• Consultant of the Year
• Builder (or Subcontractor) of the Year

These categories recognise the critical role our collaborators play in achieving exceptional built outcomes. As a recipient of a Chapter Named Award—the highest honour in your category—we invite you to nominate one individual or organisation in any (or all) of the categories above, in relation to your awarded project.

Your nomination should briefly explain how the nominee demonstrated excellence and made a significant contribution to the design outcome.

Once nominations are received, the President, President Elect and Immediate Past President will review and discuss all submissions. Final selections will be made by the National President, and winners will be announced at the 2025 National Architecture Awards in Canberra.
