Residential Architecture | Multiple housing
The Dominion Residence is a six storey multi-residential development located on the corner of Canberra Avenue and Dominion Circuit in Forrest, some 700m from Parliament House and 400m from the Manuka town centre. The building form and scale boldly responds to the urban context of Canberra Avenue and sympathetically respects the residential scale of the Forrest residential scale along Dominion Circuit and beyond. The Dominion Residence aligns to and departs from the standardised four storey datum level of Canberra Avenue by increasing its height to 6 storeys at the intersection. The height increase responds to the adjacent development and strengthens the gateway of Dominion Circuit.
