For nearly a century, the Institute has operated with a united purpose: “we advance architecture together” and has been a trusted advocate for architects across Australia. As we look to the future, it’s essential that we continue to evolve to meet the needs of the profession and ensure we remain a strong, relevant resource for you. This year, we are focused on resetting our value to our members with your future in mind. The Institute’s sustainability and relevance are our key focus areas. We are focusing our advocacy and education efforts and aligning our resources to serve members better. In 2025, a review of the Institute’s Committees and Awards is being led by National Council.
The Institute has undergone a critical enquiry into our operations over the last year, and over the past few weeks, we’ve realigned the Institute’s organisational structure. This has meant some difficult decisions, however, we believe that this will ensure the long-term success of the organisation. By the end of 2025, we aim to have a refreshed operating model that enhances services, improves efficiency, and strengthens the Institute’s resilience.
