Our Response to Proposed Changes at UQ’s School of Architecture

Both the Institute and the University of Queensland School of Architecture were founded in the 1930s. So for 90 years, we’ve been sharing a commitment to and legacy of promoting quality standards in the architecture profession.

It is with the spirit of continued advocacy to the quality of education and professional pathways for architects that the Queensland Chapter Council has requested a meeting with Vice-Chancellor and President of UQ, Professor Deborah Terry AO. Our letter outlines member concerns regarding recently announced changes to the School of Architecture and seeks assurances that these concerns will be addressed.
