Our sold‑out International Women’s Day event at Lawson’s Flats brought together a vibrant crowd to celebrate and uplift women and gender‑diverse professionals in architecture. Guests enjoyed a welcome drink before settling in for an engaging panel hosted by WA Equity Taskforce Co‑Chairs Mimi Cho and Sharaan Muruvan.
Our speakers — Jennie Officer, Danielle Geagea, Suzanne Hunt and Stephanie Alama Chavez — shared candid and inspiring reflections on their careers, balancing humour, insight and challenge. Their stories encouraged us all to consider how we can help build more equitable and supportive workplaces across the profession.
