FROM THE TAS CHAPTER EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

You may not know, but the Tasmanian Chapter team has been fortunate in the last six months to have the absolute powerhouse – Jessie-Anne Pankiw – join our team to exclusively work on Open House Southern Midlands. This was made possible through funding from the Tasmanian Government’s Built Heritage Grants Scheme. The care, dedication and unbridled enthusiasm, along with her no-nonsense approach, has been an absolute blessing and I am so grateful to Taylor + Hinds Architects for sharing her with us!

More recently, Alastair Scott joined the team to work on Open House Hobart. I cannot express to you the sheer amount of work he has done in that short period. He has taken some of our processes and streamlined them with tech, and as a result, revolutionised the way we work.

My heartfelt thanks go to both, and I wish Alastair well as he embarks to travel to Europe! A little hint – he is looking for a job when he returns, and I could not recommend him more highly.
