We're inviting motivated university students and the profession to register their interest in volunteering at the upcoming Australian Architecture Conference (AAC 2026) from Friday 30 - Saturday 31 October in Brisbane. Volunteering is a great opportunity to gain hands-on event experience, connect with industry professionals, and be part of adynamic, large-scale conference environment. Submitting this form does not guarantee placement and successful applicants will be contacted closer to the conference with further details.

If you are chosen, here are the terms and conditions you must adhere to: As a volunteer, you will be required to: 1. Maintain a high standard of professionalism throughout the event. 2. Arrive on time and in correct uniform for all scheduled shifts and roles. 3. Work alongside colleagues and event organisers to ensure smooth event operations. 4. Carry out the tasks assigned to you, which may include but are not limited to: Assisting with registration and check-ins Assisting event logistics, including seating arrangements Offering general assistance during allocated shift times 5. Maintain clear and positive communication with the event team and participants. 6. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures during the event.
For Student Volunteers Only(Required)
Student volunteer positions are open to architecture students residing in QLD only. Student volunteers will receive complimentary 1-day conference access, should you wish to observe the sessions when not volunteering. Volunteer on both days and attend both days of the conference! Please note that paying attendees should be given priority access. Student volunteers will NOT be expected to volunteer the full day and will be offered the option of working either the early shift or the afternoon shift. When not working your allocated shift time, you are free to enjoy the Conference as a guest. Travel expenses (i.e. fuel, public transport, parking) will not reimbursed for student volunteers. All student volunteers will be assigned to an Institute staff member who will be responsible for your activities and safety while working. Student volunteers must attend the orientation sessions prior to the event.
