Announcing the student fund conference ticket recipients

The Institute is thrilled to announce the recipients of complimentary full-access student tickets to attend this year’s Australian Architecture Conference as part of the student fund initiative.Congratulations to the recipients:   

  • Rehila Hydari, a student from Monash University,
  • Xing Ting Ng, a student from The University of Tasmania
  • Sina Booraghi, a student from The University of Canberra.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the generous Institute members who contributed to the student fund, making it possible for these students to attend the conference.

Recipient,  Rehlia Hydari conveyed her gratitude to Institute members, saying:

“It is very exciting that I can attend the conference, and I deeply appreciate members’ contribution to the student fund. Especially now that I have taken the leap into completing my masters in architecture, and know that the conference will help to ignite a new sense of passion and interest for architecture as I start to navigate through my studies and professional experiences in the field.”

Xing Ting, another recipient, shared her excitement and expectations for the upcoming conference:

“Participating at a conference is always exciting for me as I know I will acquire valuable insights from it. I am very much looking forward to learning from different experts who are willing to share their knowledge, particularly regarding sustainable futures and designing with the Country. I believe it is crucial for us, as students and professionals, to understand our roles in these matters.”

Australian architecture conference

The Australian Architecture Conference, “Unprecedented,” is scheduled to take place in Canberra from 29 October to 31st.
