The Queensland Chapter had their sixth 2023 Regional Awards event on Friday, 9 June.
The Far North Queensland Regional Architecture Awards were held at Salt House in Cairns. It was a wonderful evening celebrating local Architecture with a great turnout with over 110 attendees.
Named award winners:
- Crystalbrook Riley by CA Architects and ThomsonAdsett, Eddie Oribin Award for Building of the Year
- Newman Catholic College by TPG Architects, Far North Queensland Regional Project of the Year
- St. Mary’s Catholic College- Hugh O’Brien Centre by Clarke and Prince Pty Ltd, Far North Queensland People’s Choice Award

All commended projects in the series of regional awards progress to Queensland State Awards consideration. The shortlist is judged by the Queensland State Awards Jury.
