We invite you to join us in person at this year’s 2023 Australian Architecture Conference from 29 October until 31 October in Canberra at the Kambri Cultural Centre within the Australian National University (ANU).
To celebrate this year’s conference, we are excited to announce that for the first time, the National Awards Ceremony event will close conference on Tuesday 31 October to give all delegates the opportunity to attend, in one place, without the need to make multiple trips throughout the year.
This year’s conference theme is ‘precedent’ where we invite you to take a moment to pause and reflect. What has come before? How do we focus our resolve for how we face the future? How do we use what has gone before, to help us shape what is yet to come?
With a focus on demonstrated outcomes, we look for architecture that has proven transformative.
With a diversity of voices, we are seeking to create an ambitious, inclusive and optimistic space from which to face the future of the profession and the planet.
We are looking to embrace culture as a matter of influence. Encompassing the cultures of people that create the built environment but also the culture we create within our profession. What are the changes we need to make to create the kind of culture we can be proud to hand down to the next generation of architects?
