The Tasmanian President of The Australian Institute of Architects, Mr Shamus Mulcahy, and the Tasmanian Chapter Council invite you and your guests to attend the Virtual 2020 Tasmanian Architecture Awards Presentation on Friday June 12, 2020 from 8.00 pm. Please register your interest in viewing this presentation here

Join us for a shared Tasmanian experience, for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home that will bring us all together as a community, while we enjoy the presentation and are unable to gather in person. To accompany this we have teamed with Future Feeders to create a uniquely Tasmanian food and beverage offering, which will support our local hospitality and tourism industry while providing a delicious accompaniment to watch the awards with.

These amazing Future Feeders dinner boxes are produced by Chloe Proud (Proud Juice Press || Oddfellows Hobart) and her team who have been working hard find ways to support the hospitality industry. Future Feeders is a Tasmanian alliance of food and drink professionals, supporting producers and employees and pursuing education on provenance. Their goals are to unite like-minded businesses and their local supply chain to get through these challenging times, and to pave a more sustainable future for our community.

Each Future Feeders dinner box is designed to cater for two people and features:

  • Small Island Pinot Noir // small batch award winning pinot noir from Saltwater River;
  • Native Tasmanian mulled wine pack // DIY spice packs for mulled wine with native pepperberry, kunzia and wildflowers;
  • Handmade tortellini filled with Tasmanian rabbit and pine mushroom filling with broth // fresh ricotta and nettle vegetarian option;
  • Oddfellows fig leaf infused martini;
  • Gluten free tiramisu made with Straight Up Roasters coffee;
  • Nutpatch handmade chocolates.

Cost: $100 per box (incl. delivery)

RSVP: online by midday Friday 5 June.
Please add your postal address in the notes when ordering your Future Feeders dinner box.

In the meantime, while we anticipate the awards presentations, a highly comprehensive website platform has been developed to showcase all the entries in the awards, including the projects that are eligible for the Henry Hunter Triennial Prize. We encourage you all to browse through the projects entered in the awards and to share this platform that celebrates Tasmanian architecture. Through the website you can also vote in the People’s Choice.
