Verda is a coastal residential development comprising four three-storey dwellings.
The site’s proximity to beaches, the Clarence River, and a vibrant retail precinct offers residents exceptional access to public open space, local amenities, and daily conveniences—supporting active, social lifestyles and a walk-everywhere ethos.
Drawing inspiration from historic beach houses, the architecture features skillion roofs, fibre cement cladding, and lightweight construction that integrates sensitively with the streetscape. Passive cooling strategies, dual-aspect layouts, and blade screens respond to Yamba’s sub-tropical climate, promoting natural comfort and reducing reliance on mechanical systems.
Deep planting and balcony screening balance privacy with community connection, while coastal native landscaping enhances the project’s ecological values.
Verda exemplifies sustainable, contextually grounded design—elevating everyday living through wellbeing, and a quiet contribution to the evolving language of Australian coastal architecture.
