Media summary

Paga Hill Paradise is a landmark multi-residential development that signals a new standard for high-density housing in Port Moresby. Positioned on a prominent beachfront site overlooking Fairfax Harbour, the 22-storey tower forms the first completed residential project within the emerging Paga Hill precinct, a major waterfront regeneration initiative.

Comprising 83 apartments across a diverse mix of dwelling types—from one-bedroom residences to multi-level penthouses—the project prioritises spatial generosity, outlook, and long-term liveability over maximum yield. The building’s form and orientation respond directly to its tropical maritime context, maximising natural light, views, and prevailing breezes. A distinctive patterned façade, inspired by local cultural motifs, establishes a strong architectural identity while moderating scale and enhancing environmental performance.

Through its integration of generous private dwellings, shared amenities, and civic presence, Paga Hill Paradise demonstrates how high-quality multi-residential architecture can contribute meaningfully to urban renewal and city-making in the Pacific region.

Paga Hill Paradise Stage 1 represents the realisation of a long-held vision for high-quality residential living on Port Moresby’s waterfront. We are immensely proud of the outcome and the collaborative effort that brought the project to completion. The building has exceeded expectations in design quality, market response, and its contribution to the evolving Paga Hill precinct. Its success has given us the confidence to immediately commence Stage 2, a larger residential tower on the adjoining site, building on the architectural, commercial, and urban foundations established by this project. Paga Hill Paradise has set a benchmark we are committed to advancing.
