The Dharawal People
NSW
The Oran Park Leisure Centre (OPLC) project represents a pivotal moment in the development of Oran Park’s new town centre, promoting an active, inclusive lifestyle at the heart of this growing, culturally diverse community. Situated in historic farmland-turned-residential area in New South Wales, the centre integrates built spaces, landscaping, and public areas to foster urban connection. The OPLC features a 50-metre pool, leisure pool with a ‘Rapid River’, toddler pool, basketball courts, gym, sauna, and spa, among other amenities. Designed with inclusivity, placemaking, and family-orientation in mind, the facility is accessible to all, encouraging interaction across different age groups and abilities. The facility’s impact is already evident, as seen in the immediate uptake of the swim programme and the positive community response.
The Oran Park Leisure Centre is a testament to the vision we have for Camden – to provide world class facilities right here in our community. This centre will not only cater to our growing population but also inspire the next generation of athletes and active families.
