Surrounded by a semi-rural setting and rich native Australian bushland, the New Administration Building at Glenview State School draws inspiration from its natural surroundings. Located in the heart of the school, replacing a former sports court, the new building blends seamlessly into its backdrop of gum trees and grevilleas by incorporating shades of eucalyptus green, pale-yellow, and natural whites into the colour palette.
With the old administration building having served the school for 100 years, it has now been refurbished into a resource collection and multimedia learning area, and sits comfortably alongside the new administration building. Meanwhile, the new administration building accommodates the growing needs of staff and students whilst providing a much-needed central zone for play, learning, and an accessible pedestrian connection through the campus. The silky oak inspired golden cladding at the entrance warmly welcomes the public, staff, and students alike to the school campus.
