Festival Tower is a 29-storey commercial workplace that forms a key part of the renewal of Adelaide’s Festival Plaza. Guided by the South Australian Government’s Riverbank Masterplan, the project places a genuinely public ground plane at its core, conceived as an extension of the civic plaza and prioritising pedestrian movement and everyday activation. Above, flexible A-Grade commercial floorplates support a diverse tenancy mix. The fully electric building has achieved a 6 Star Green Star Design & As Built rating, demonstrating a commitment to high-performance, low-carbon commercial architecture.
For Walker, Festival Tower One sets a new benchmark for workplace design in Adelaide. The architecture delivers flexible, light-filled floorplates that support modern ways of working while achieving leading sustainability outcomes.
An active ground plane integrates diverse retail offerings and landscaped public spaces within Festival Plaza, creating a welcoming and highly activated civic setting.
JPW’s design uses timeless, high-quality materials and a considered architectural expression.
