Media summary

Egan St 2020 sits between a row of town houses and single storey terrace house.

But it has many other design possibilities, including filling a whole block.

The great quality of the apartments is their privacy and amenity.

Typical apartment buildings gather their amenity; sun, light, air and views from all around and as they do this, make impacts all around.

These courtyard townhouses gather their amenity within the site itself.

Egan St 2020 has a lot of similarities with housing in Greece, Africa (Casbah), China (Hutong) and Denmark (low and close).

A place for everything and everything in its place.
