Perched above Main Beach and Little Cove, this refined renovation synthesizes 1980's with contemporary coastal apartment living in Noosa. By seamlessly merging two existing residences, the project delivers a generous four‑bedroom home defined by light, air, and panoramic ocean views. The design responds sensitively to the subtropical climate through deep balconies, filtered views through vegetation, cross‑ventilation, and a durable natural material palette of plaster, timber, terracotta, and stone. Removed low ceilings reveal the building’s raking roof, enhancing spatial volume and connection to place. Internally, open‑plan living areas flow effortlessly to sheltered terraces, balancing relaxed family living with elegant entertaining. Thoughtful collaboration across disciplines and integrated smart technology elevate comfort, sustainability, and long‑term value. The result is a timeless, understatedly luxurious sanctuary that sets a benchmark for coastal apartment transformations.
Cove Point represents a considered conversion of two apartments into a single residence, designed as a legacy gift for an extended family. To ensure longevity, interior and exterior finishes were selected without compromise to minimize ongoing maintenance.
Occupying a stunning position overlooking the Noosa shoreline and Little Cove Beach, the residence sits within the eucalypt canopy, creating a vibrant connection to the natural environment. Through a close collaboration between the client and architect, sophisticated interiors defined by atmospheric materiality has created a magnificent outcome.
