Adelaide Design Week every*where was not commissioned. It was not imported. It was built from within – by creatives, for creatives. 

In 2025, Adelaide’s creative community launched its first city-wide design week –  without lanyards, without gatekeeping, and without waiting for institutional validation. Studios opened their doors. Shopfronts became galleries. Architects, interior designers, students, furniture makers and creatives co-authored installations, conversations and provocations across the city.

every*where reframes Adelaide as an active design culture rather than a quiet one. It exposes process over product and collaboration over authorship. More than a 'design week', it is a working model of how creatives can self-organise, knowledge share and generate new opportunities.

Partnerships formed during the inaugural week have already led to ongoing commissions, research collaborations and cross-disciplinary projects. Adelaide Design Week every*where proves that through a considered lens, excitement stirs. The city just needed the platform, and passion to drive it.
