161 Eastern Road, South Melbourne, is a premium multi-residential project strategically located between mid-rise buildings close Albert Park Lake, just 20 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. The design aims to address the growing demand for high-density living in well-connected, amenity-rich areas. Despite site challenges, KUD worked closely with the consultant team to create a sculptural piece of architecture. The project features innovative elements such as cantilevered balconies and double-height spaces that add visual impact, along with high-quality materials and custom public art. The design emphasizes creating unique, personalized living spaces that offer a sense of individuality and community.
