Matthew Schneider leads Urbis’ Gold Coast office. He is a respected town planning consultant, strategic advisor and project director, with strong communication and negotiation skills. Matthew’s work is focused on the Gold Coast, but extends across Queensland and New South Wales.

He works with private sector clients and government authorities and he regularly appears as an expert in the Queensland Planning and Environment Court. Matthew is an active participant in industry debate, policy development and events, he has secured approvals for a range of mixed use, residential, tourism, retail and industry projects on the Gold Coast.

Matthew presently leads the consultant team working with the Destination Gold Coast Consortium to secure approval for the development of a world-class integrated resort at Jupiters Island, Broadbeach.
