EmAGN (QLD) Archi-Bubs Mentoring Program

Navigating parenthood while building an architectural career can be challenging—but you don’t have to do it alone. EmAGN’s Archibubs Mentoring Program connects working parents with those preparing to return to work after parental leave, offering guidance, support, and shared experiences. Whether it’s managing flexible work arrangements, balancing project deadlines with family life, or re-establishing professional confidence, this peer-to-peer mentoring initiative fosters a supportive community for architects at every stage of parenthood.
Join us to gain insight, share strategies, and shape a more inclusive profession—because a strong support network makes all the difference.
How It Works
The Archibubs Mentoring Program is designed with flexibility and simplicity in mind to accommodate the diverse needs of our participants. The program spans 12 months, providing ample time for meaningful connections and growth.
Here’s how you can get involved:
1. Application Process: Interested participants—both mentors and mentees—can complete a straightforward online application form detailing their experiences, challenges, and preferences. This information helps us create compatible pairings that align with individual goals.
2. Flexible Engagement: Once matched, each pair determines the frequency and mode of their interactions, whether through regular in-person meetings, virtual sessions, or casual check-ins. This approach ensures the mentoring relationship complements your personal and professional commitments.
3. Supportive Oversight: While autonomy is encouraged, Archibubs Champions are available to provide guidance, resources, and assistance as needed, ensuring a supportive environment throughout the mentoring journey.
