Join us in developing relevant CPD that members want to talk about!
The Tasmanian Chapter is seeking new members to join its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively to support the profession in improving knowledge and competence for architects to maintain registration and respond on key issues across CPD and education.
Tasked to develop and action an annual CPD program, the Committee also lobbies Government for additional CPD funding, connects with the University of Tasmania and other relevant education institutions, keeps a watching brief on issues and trends, and responds to queries and develops recommendations or strategies on issues and trends in CPD and education.
Meeting monthly via videoconference, the CPD Committee is seeking new members to contribute their skills and expertise to this collaborative committee.
Applicants should be current Institute members.
The Institute is committed to a diverse representation of members on its committees and panels. With this commitment to representation, we encourage applications from members identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, members identifying as gender diverse and members identifying as female.
If you are seeking engagement, are passionate about further education and have some time to commit, please submit an EOI (Expression of Interest) advising why you would like to join the CPD Committee and what you can positively contribute, together with your CV to loren.bates@architecture.com.
