We’re pleased to introduce Zammi Rohan from Counterpoint Architecture and Lesley-Claire Howard from Peddle Thorp Architects as the new Co-Chairs of the North Queensland Regional Working Group!
Zammi, co-founder and director of Counterpoint Architecture, is a familiar presence in Townsville, having contributed to the local architecture scene for over 20 years. Lesley-Claire brings fresh insights after relocating from Broome, WA, to Townsville in 2023.
Together, they’re committed to fostering a connected and vibrant architectural community. With more than 15 architectural firms and around 100 associated professionals in North Queensland, Zammi and Lesley-Claire are focused on addressing regional needs and enriching the architectural landscape.
We’d also like to thank Peter Muller, the outgoing Chair, for his dedicated service, along with Jeffery Kerr and Tess Grace for their continued support. Zammi and Lesley-Claire are looking forward to working alongside them and invite anyone interested in joining the Working Group to reach out.
We’re excited to see how they’ll continue to support and shape the North Queensland architectural community.
