Have your say on the NSW building reforms

The NSW Legislative Council’s Public Accountability Committee is currently calling for submissions for their upcoming inquiry into the regulation of building standards. As part of this work, they will undertake a review of the new Design & Building Practitioners Act and Regulation.

These legislative and regulatory changes impose multiple new obligations on design practitioners, engineers and building practitioners throughout the life of a building.

The Institute of Architects NSW Chapter is calling on our members to inform our submission by completing a short survey on the Act and Regulation. Please complete the survey no later than Monday 16^th August 2021 to have your say.
