Cath Hall named Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects

Australian Institute of Architects Fellowships are given to members who have demonstrated a significant contribution to the architecture profession beyond architecture practice. It is our pleasure to announce that Cath Hall has been named a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects.

Cath is a founding director of 1+2 Architecture. She has over 25 years of experience in architecture locally, nationally and internationally. She is passionate about architecture, the quality of our built environment and the quality of our natural environment. Cath’s portfolio includes a broad range of projects from private residences to master- planning for urban centres.

Cath graduated from University of Tasmania in 1992 with first class honours and has been a practising registered architect for 23 years. She has travelled extensively and lived and worked in New Zealand and New York. She ran her own practice for 2 years prior to the establishment of 1+2 ARCHITECTURE in 2002.

Cath first joined the Australian Institute of Architects as a student member in 1991 and has been a corporate member since 2000. Cath was an Institute representative to the Board of Architects of Tasmania, a Registration Assessor and a multiple time jury member in the Australian Institute of Architects awards program. Cath has been an elected member of the Institute’s Tasmanian Chapter Council between 2016 and 2019.

Congratulations, Cath.
