ONA’s new workplace reflects a commitment to sustainability, accessibility, and people-focused design. Through collaborative workshops with the team, the aim was to empower people through design.
The fitout prominently features reused and recycled materials, with 88% of the existing fitout and 38% of the previous ONA office fitout being reused to reduce environmental impact. Where items could not be reused, they were donated.
Accessibility is a key focus, with all spaces designed to exceed requirements, ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone.
Maximising natural light in workstations and communal verandahs creates a healthy, productive environment that supports an equitable culture. The energy-efficient design and abundant greenery foster a positive work-life balance, productivity, and creativity.
By prioritizing these elements, ONA has established a benchmark for sustainable and inclusive office design.
