Morialta Secondary College delivers “Growth for every child” through innovative learning environments pursued through the idea of a school as community hub.
We delivered a new paradigm for large schools that successfully blend into their suburban realm through a “learning ecosystem” that merges the wellness benefits of a natural Hills backdrop with learning environments that support local/global pathways for students.
Morialta encourages community participation by displaying stories of place. This positive community connection strengthens families to support children through a diverse curriculum offering made possible by agile learning spaces that advertises the joy of learning to the public domain.
Morialta Secondary College’s design enables us to build an innovative learning community. Contemporary learning spaces support staff to collaborate within learning areas to maximise their impact working with learners.. Students create, perform and present exemplary work across the arts and technologies, STEM and the liberal arts that is exhibited throughout our learning spaces using high quality, specialised technology, and equipment. Our gym, performing arts centre and library are integral places for gathering and learning together as a community. Through the college’s architectural design and narrative, we routinely acknowledge the land and buildings we work and learn on as Kaurna country.
