Queensland
Brisbane
The new home of Ellivo represents our values and who we are. Seeking character and adaptability, our new studio has allowed us to grow and embrace the heritage of the building, while also challenging the status quo of how we work.
The process of planning in the heritage-listed Custom Credit House, gave us a chance to pause, reflect and explore what was important to all the people who use our spaces – clients, visitors, staff members and friends alike. It became clear how critical our ‘home’ is to us, and how our expertise in Architecture and Interiors needed to be as aligned in our space as it is in our work.
In true Ellivo spirit, we explored the essence of home and place, and realised our values were captured by the Queensland vernacular. Our balcony, garden bar (kitchen), sunroom, forest (booth) and laneway brought together our home for our team.
We had the benefit of being able to use our internal ingrained skills and plan early to make sure the new space exceeds the ever-changing nature of the workplace. With a studio of creatives, we zoomed right out to test what it could be, while in the middle of covid and limitations on the office.
Our new space elevates the experience of our space for staff and visitors, and we could not be happier. We are more enabled through technology, spaces, and acoustics and are really happy with the emphasis on our environmental footprint and staff wellness.
