After spending over a third of its 173 years as a company at 33 Alfred Street, AMP wanted to create a new home in QQT where its history and stories were at the heart – a place where people, performance, collaboration, life-long learning and well-being inform every experience.
The workplace is a manifestation of AMP’s brand, culture and spirit. It’s a platform for performance in a living beacon (QQT) and a place that fosters learning, relationships and human and environmental well-being. It’s also a celebration of the stories of people and their communities.
With a rapid increase in people electing to be present daily, by simply supporting communities to collaborate and connect, AMP demonstrates that well designed workplaces are as relevant as ever. Conceived pre-COVID as a hub for commercial and social connection, AMP’s workplace is a place of equality where everyone is welcomed, supported and valued.
AMP has a long history of collaborating with Hassell. The most impactful, and recent of these collaborations has been our flagship workplace in QQT in Sydney, where Hassell worked closely with our Workplace Experience team over 5 years and delivered what we believe is an amazingly inspirational workplace.
Our new Sydney home is a beautiful manifestation of our brand, our culture and our spirit, but beyond that it’s a platform for increased performance, and a place that fosters learning, relationships, human and environmental well-being. And more, it seamlessly honours our Reconciliation Action Plan and connects us to this place.

We express our gratitude to their Elders and Knowledge Holders whose wisdom, actions and knowledge have kept culture alive.
