Policy & Advocacy

TASMANIAN CHAPTER
POLICY & ADVOCACY

The Tasmanian Chapter regularly submits responses to government and department consultation papers, and local government consultation.

Through these channels we promote strategies, policies and best practice that support a better, safer and more sustainable built environment. Past submissions can be found on the Institute’s Submission Library

We seek feedback from members to inform these submissions, and this valuable input ensures that we can best represent architects across the state.

A list of current consultations is below, along with their due dates. To provide input, please contact the Tasmanian Chapter.

We specifically seek your views on the following question:

  1. Is there anything in the Regulations that needs to be varied, added or removed?

Please note this is only the first step in our consultation process, and further consultation, including any substantive changes to the Regulations, will occur as the process progresses.

We welcome your comments by COB Friday, 13 March 2025. Please send your feedback or any questions by email to cbos.info@justice.tas.gov.au.
