Victoria
Built in 1965, this mid-century marvel sits atop a coastal cliff in North Lorne. One of the most notable homes for entertaining Melbourne societies through the 70s – 90s, this stunning home has now undergone a full restoration with many tasteful improvements. Much of the original furniture remains including pieces by Gerald Easdon, Ladderax, T.H Brown, Brdr Anderson.
This renovation has improved the liveability of our amazing period home significantly. We needed a very tasteful and considerate architectural approach because of the local significance and originality of this mid-century modern house.
We love that all of the important period elements were retained and that the newer improvements are not obvious at all. Now we have amenities that suit our family needs, the delightful finishes and MCM features have been restored to last another 60 years.
Perhaps we love most the lovely lower landscaping which now provides for outdoor relaxing and kids entertainment with the inground trampoline and treehouse.
