This project transforms a dated 108 m² office into a contemporary architectural studio focused on collaboration, wellbeing, and sustainable practice. By removing non‑structural partitions, the design opens the floor plate to natural light and creates a calm, flexible environment suited to both focused work and creative exchange. A central spine of custom joinery structures the space while maintaining visual continuity, enhancing the sense of openness. Material choices prioritise durability, warmth, and low environmental impact, with extensive reuse of existing elements to minimise waste and embodied carbon. Circular design principles guided decisions such as repurposing carpet and kitchen components for new projects. Indoor planting, sit‑stand workstations, and a revitalised balcony support environmental quality and social connection. A communal eating table anchors the studio’s culture, while acoustic upgrades and a multipurpose meeting room balance openness with privacy. The result is a resource‑efficient workspace that strengthens collective identity and wellbeing
