Media summary

Cloud Island is a landmark residential development within Luxelakes Eco-City, a 550-hectare model of sustainable urban living in Chengdu featuring 150 hectares of manmade lakes. The twin Y-shaped towers form a striking gateway to the Eco-City with a curved ‘Y’ form, inspired by water lilies and the surrounding lakeside environment. The bold, clean-lined architecture combines horizontal plates and vertical blades for shading, creating an elegant, abstract expression.

Each floor has three spacious apartments – one at 200 m² and two at 225 m² – ensuring privacy, natural light, and cross-ventilation, with internal layouts accommodating both Western and Chinese kitchens. Residents enjoy a curated entry experience, generous amenities, and elevated lake views. Completed in 2025 in collaboration with CPD and Sunway International, Cloud Island exemplifies sustainable design, cultural integration, and premium lifestyle in China’s pioneering Sponge City development.
