A more strategic policy and advocacy approach across the Institute, clearer communication about our priorities, and easier-to-navigate webpages outlining the work we’re doing. You’ll see more of what matters to you, and the outcomes we’re achieving on behalf of members and the profession.

Learning content is being reshaped and resurfaced around where you actually are in your career. The standard is rising. The pathway is clearer.

A system for your voice
There is now a dedicated space for you to tell us what matters. Every quarter, we report back — what we heard, what we committed to, what we delivered. The annual survey in November is one moment in a continuous loop.

A simpler, smarter way to access the Institute
The website is being rebuilt around your needs. Content shaped to where you are in your career. A redesigned navigation bar makes it easier to find what you need, faster. We’ve also added a questionnaire so you can tell us what’s working, and what’s not. And an app is in exploration, we’ll share more on that as it takes shape.

Excellence looks like more than one thing
Expanding what we celebrate- housing that scales, buildings designed for reuse, low-carbon approaches, work shaped with Country and culture. The people doing this work deserve to be seen.
And this is just the start. In Phase 2, we’ll build on this momentum by reshaping how we communicate with you, strengthening the overall member experience, and redefining what it truly feels like to be part of this Institute, wherever you are in your career. We’ll also continue creating more meaningful ways to engage with our members, bringing your expertise and perspectives into our advocacy priorities and policy positions, while delivering a more connected, valuable and member-led experience across every touchpoint.
