2026 Annual General Elections: Introducing your National Council members
Following the 2026 Annual General Elections, the Australian Institute of Architects is pleased to introduce the incoming National Councillors who will represent members across the country.
National Council plays an important role in the governance of the Institute, representing the interests of members and contributing to the development of initiatives that support the profession.
This year, we welcome several newly elected representatives who will join the National Council in their respective roles.

Each brings valuable experience and perspective to National Council and will contribute to advancing the Institute’s work on behalf of members and the broader profession.

National Council is elected by members to represent the diversity of the profession across Chapters, career stages and practice types. Through this representative structure, Council helps ensure that the Institute continues to respond to emerging challenges and opportunities while strengthening its role as the peak body for architecture in Australia.
