Brisbane
Our work with Insurance Australia Group (IAG) marks the dawn of new workplace behaviours. COX Architecture created a set of physical spaces that support people through collaboration and wellbeing – seamlessly blending working from home with working from the office.
A central Marketplace has been implemented to provide more democratic amenity shared between staff and visitors. Marketplaces are open not just to staff, but to the IAG community – A place to come together to share stories, eat, work and relax.
The design and palette reflects Brisbane’s subtropical architecture, where bold colours create a light and bright space that celebrates the city’s vibrant culture.
IAG’s new offices are pivotal to improved workplace experience and productivity. They are flagships of our portfolio. The offices support hybrid working, enable increased collaboration, talent attraction, drive connection and are catalyst for our cultural evolution. The design aligns with our Group People Strategy and IAG Way of Working embracing flexibility and celebrating inclusion. Flexible design enables hackability allowing offices to adapt as our organisation continues to evolve. Reduction of footprint leads to every sqm becoming a purposeful destination and through diversity of space encourages our people to reimagine today whilst leading the way in Workplace Accessibility and Sustainability.
